Because all youth deserve an opportunity to improve their lives, explore their potential, and achieve success- however they define it.

Take a Hike partners with public school districts to engage vulnerable youth in a full-time mental health and emotional well-being program that is embedded in an alternate education classroom.  Take a Hike Foundation engages youth in intensive and continuous clinical counselling, adventure, and community,  public school districts engage youth in high quality public education, and together we empower vulnerable youth to change the trajectory of their lives.

Our grade 10 to 12 youth improve their mental and physical health, develop social and emotional skills, and overcome barriers to personal and academic success. Our alumni are hopeful and resilient, and equipped with the skills they need to navigate young adulthood, engage in healthy relationships, and achieve success- however they define it.
