Our teenage years are often a time of relentless uncertainty, anxiety, and trepidation. This is amplified for vulnerable youth who more than anything need a nurturing, stable, and safe environment where they can unlock their unique gifts and talents and develop the self-confidence and relationship skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Many youth in Take a Hike rely on the structure, support and routine of the program. While graduation is a time of celebration for many, for the vulnerable youth we work with it can also mean loss. Suddenly the environment they rely on is gone.

That’s why we plan to extend our program into the summer months. This would mean students and graduates can continue to access clinical counselling—whenever they need it!

Will you make a gift today to ensure youth are supported through these times of change?

Yes, I want to make sure youth have supports when it’s needed most!

Your gift ensures vulnerable youth in BC are not left behind. Take a Hike youth are engaging in clinical counselling, climbing mountains, and taking steps to improve their lives right now.

Thank you for giving them the future they deserve!
