Take a Hike is an innovative education program engaging vulnerable youth through a unique combination of academics, land-based learning, clinical counselling, and community involvement. Based at the Canada Way Education Centre, Take a Hike West Burnaby operates in partnership with School District 41 (Burnaby Board of Education) since 2014.
Burnaby youth Intake
If you are a youth that would like to apply to the Take a Hike program in Burnaby or a parent or counsellor looking for information, please contact the intake personnel below. They will gladly answer your questions and provide you with guidance.
Applicants will be interviewed, and notified of their status. Upon acceptance to the program, youth must sign a medical clearance form before attending classes.
