Development Coordinator, Grants

Curious, loyal, and just a little bit introverted, Natasha has a passion for creative writing and having a positive impact on the world. As the Grant Writer, Natasha ensures Take a Hike’s vision and mission is reflected to our community, sponsors, and donors.

Natasha started a Biomedical Engineering Lab writing research grants and then went to Vancouver Film School for a year to explore screenwriting, and her short film was selected for the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. After graduating, she used her creative writing skills for good by working for non-profits and wrote grants for St. John Ambulance but wanted to do meaningful work and that’s how she eventually found her way to Take a Hike.

Outside of work, Natasha likes watching a lot of TV, movies and checking out new restaurants with her partner and her sisters. However, she mostly passionate about sharpening her creative writing skills outside of writing grants. Being away from most of her family, Natasha daydreams about being on the beach in the Philippines, drinking coconut shakes and eating grilled seafood with them.  Ask Natasha about anything grants, San Antonio Spurs, and The Mummy (1999).
